1. Low Under Bed Storage
No matter how high or low your bed is, use the space beneath! You can use boxes and even your suitcases to store things under your bed without it looking messy.

2. High Bed Storage Ideas
When your bed is as high as this one, you have lots of space below!
I also love the blue and mint colors of this one, as well as how practical it is by using the space you wouldn’t otherwise.
3. Closet Storage
These special hangers save so much space in a tiny closet, so if your dorm wardrobe is smaller than at home, you can definitely make it less crowded in there by using this product.
There are several variations, I have seen one where hangers are included, but this one is a system where you put your own hangers on. Both are super cool!
An alternative DIY would be to hang a hanger onto another one, but I’m not sure how well that works once you put clothes on.
4. Desk and Time Organization
I love the idea of the dry-erase board directly by the desk area so you can refer to it at any time.
You can put any month on it without having to waste multiple calendars because the days are wrong.
The desk organizer boxes are also great ideas to have more space when studying.
5. Key organization
Whether you have a roommate or not, having a place for your keys and student ID is pretty handy! You won’t be late to class because you couldn’t find them:)
My roommate and I just use command hooks for our keys, right next to the door. Those can be taken off easily, but you can also buy something nicer, such as in the picture above.
6. Food Storage Ideas
This food storage idea is perfect if you don’t have space for a fridge or boxes to store your snacks.
You can hang it on the inside of your closet door (or whatever door you have available) and grab what you need quickly.
I would recommend keeping a set of cutlery, 1-2 plates, and bottles/reusable cups in your dorm, to minimize your waste pollution (and it’s just nicer to eat with too).
Of course, it’s hard to get snacks without packaging, but try to just be mindful of what you spend your money on.
This hanger is one of my favorite dorm organization ideas!

7. Desk Organization & Decor
Desk organization is super important to study efficiently and find your stuff. Living in a small space with other people makes it crucial to be organized and clean, but still, be cute and aesthetically pleasing.
I feel like this picture organizer is perfect for that!
8. Rolling Organizer
I love this organization idea, as you can even roll it around if you’d like! You can use it to store food, textbooks, personal items, or just decor.
These are my 8 picks of dorm organization ideas! I hope you like some of them!! You can even mix and match items you like and see how they work for you.
