Now let’s get into the Top 10 Photo Spots in Paris!
1. Place du Trocadéro
Probably the most famous photo spot in Paris to see the Eiffel Tower is the Place du Trocadéro. Situated on the hill straight from the Eiffel Tower, it is easy to find, and still the best spot to see the Iron Lady from.
I would definitely recommend getting there in the early morning to avoid crowds, but even if you visit at regular hours, you will find a spot to take your picture in, even if that takes some waiting.
2. Avenue de New York
This may sound unfamiliar first, but it actually just is the street along the seine on the opposite side of the tower.
When I was there it was raining, but even then, I got one of my favorite Paris photos here!
3. Moulin Rouge
The world-famous cabaret Moulin Rouge is definitely a top attraction to visit on your trip to Paris, even if you can’t afford going in.
Situated in the red light district of Paris, it’s a famous place to see, and take pictures at (at Moulin Rouge. Not the shops. haha)
4. L’arc de Triomphe
Of course, the Arc had to be on my list. But for a reason: it’s one of the most famous places to see in Paris.
With every main street intersecting at the monument, it is pretty easy to get to and has multiple views to photograph it from.
5. Place de la Concorde
Talking about the Arc in the previous point, this is one of the places to see it from!
Besides being a famous place which looks like a tiny Times Square with obelisks and fountains, it is right at one of the streets that intersect at the Arc de Triomphe on the other end.
6. The Louvre
One of the top spots of Paris is definitely the Louvre museum. Other than visiting it from the inside, you can take some creative pictures at the pyramids in the place surrounded by the museum buildings. (you don’t need a ticket to enter that area)
Just like with basically every other famous photo spot, I would recommend getting there in the early morning to avoid crowds so you can get your perfect pic!
7. The Palace of Versailles
The Palace of Versailles was one of my favorite places I’ve visited on my trip to Paris!
It’s huge, with amazing gardens, royal hallways, and beautiful architecture from inside and out. So there are lots of photo opportunities for everyone!
8. Sacré-Coeur
The basilica of the Sacred Heart in Paris is one of the most famous basilicas in all Europe.
Located in Montmartre, it is the highest point of the city and a beautiful place to take pictures at.
Unfortunately, it started POURING when I visited the basilica, but I still got a pretty good picture out of it. What really surprised me though was that all those people didn’t even think of leaving when it started raining like that. That was pretty impressive.
Of course, I stayed too, hoping others would leave so I could get a better picture with fewer people in the back. But well. Maybe you’re luckier!
9. L’Invalides
Personally, I wasn’t familiar with this place until I rode the metro about 20 times always reading the name when we passed it.
But after I’ve done some research, I decided to go check it out.
L’ Invalides are a bunch of museums, like a military museum among others.
Those who know me would now think that I wouldn’t go see that, which is pretty accurate. I’m not really into museums, especially if its about war. But the area around was amazing to just walk in and discover.
10. Walk along the Seine and find YOUR perfect angle!
I know I mentioned the Avenue in the second bulletin, but there are so many spots you can see the Eiffel Tower and cute french buildings from when you walk along the seine (OK. Who knows the song? hm? is it coming to you?)
Now you are ready to go explore the top 10 photo spots in Paris with this post in mind!
